The Honbu will be closed July 3rd – July 5th for the 4th of July holiday.  We will reopen with normal business hours on July 6th.

The Albany Honbu will be closed tonight due to weather.  We will open tomorrow with normal operating hours.

Description: The Kigami Baraki (Renewing the Spirit) is a New Years workout. Shake out the old and set anew the pace to keep for the rest of the year.

This workout will also be a memorial for Senpai Nemat.

Today is a sad day at Budokai. Sempai Nemat Heydari who has fought long and hard at honbu lost his final battle to leukemia. On Sunday, November 8th at approximately 2:40pm Sempai Nemat passed away. His family conveyed that he will miss training with everyone at the Budokai. His family wanted to express gratitude for all the support Budokai has given their family during Sempai Nemat’s battle with cancer.

A service will be held at the Islamic Mosque on Sand Creek Road in Albany at 12pm Tuesday, November 10th. He will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery on Central Ave in Albany.

We are currently undergoing some site updates for security reasons.  This should be resolved within 24 hours and the site will be back to normal.

Osu!  We have had a great summer so far but it is slowly wrapping up.  The honbu will be closed on Saturday the 5th – Monday the 7th and will re-open on Tuesday the 8th with normal the normal class schedule.
